Sustainability is at the core of daily operations. Troy Mills Farm is owned and operated by Ellen Schwab who has lived in the area her whole life and works locally at the Monroeville Postal Service. She is accompanied by her two sons, Jake and Sam Schwab. Jake currently works for Cultura Technologies, a software provider for grain elevators and co-ops, he graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in Economics. Sam is employed by CropZilla, a software provider for farming operations. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Environmental Studies and Economics. Ellen's mother, Rita Bishop, is a jack-of-all-trades and helps with the daily operations of the farm. The late John Schwab, who passed away in 2007, was also a founder of Troy Mills Farm.
